Rachel Lesinski-Roscoe has been an educator for 17 years in the secondary setting. She is currently at Grayslake Central High School in the role of Literacy Coach and Reading Specialist. She spends her time teaching in the classroom, designing and implementing interventions, and supporting teachers through professional development opportunities. She is also an adjunct professor for Northern Illinois University and College of Lake County. Dr. Lesinski-Roscoe appreciates researching any topic that will support teachers and enhance student learning. However, her passion is learning more about striving learners and the supports that can be offered in a secondary setting. Dr. Lesinski-Roscoe completed her doctoral degree from Northern Illinois University in 2016 with a focus on literacy and instructional coaching. She has a Masters in Educational Leadership and a Masters in C&I: Reading. In her free time, she enjoys being a teacher to her own four children and reading anything that comes her way.
